Born in
Italy, Graziella Malagoni immigrated to Winnipeg; she married and had three daughters. Montreal became her home in 1967. She obtained
her fashion diploma from the École des Métiers d’Art. For 25 years,under the “Graziella” label, she operated her atelier of exclusive fashion. Throughout her life Graziella studied and produced art using a variety of mediums. Silk has become Graziella’s preferred painting surface, an ideal vehicle for her creative process and visionary art expression.

In the past five years, Graziella has created a visual narrative to
express and to inspire contemplation on Life and Death, the Awareness of
Eternity, the Joys of Life. In 2009 the “Lovers of Life Parade”
took place, and 50 large colorful painted silk banners were paraded
along the Lachine Canal.
